In 2002, Nicole Karsin moved to Bogotá, Colombia where she worked as an independent journalist and began producing and directing digital films. With a vision to produce documentaries that bridge worlds through untold stories she formed Todos Los Pueblos Productions LLC (All the Peoples' Productions) in April 2007.
Before studying journalism, Karsin worked with women's cooperatives in Mayan communities of Chiapas, Mexico for five years.
She holds a Bachelor of the Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a Masters of Science from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Weaving Wisdom is her first feature-length film.
