
On November 12, 2009 a "work in progress" version of Weaving Wisdom was screened at the Levante International Film Festival in Bari, Italy.
On January 19, 2009 a rough draft of the film was presented to protagonist Flor Ilva Trochez and other authorities in Jambaló, the village of the people who authorized the film and who participated in its creation. After the screening, the authorities shared their responses. The following is a video clip of how the Nasa people in Jambaló viewed Weaving Wisdom that depicts, in part, their plight.
On February 21, 2009 Weaving Wisdom was screened for the women of MUKANVI (which stands for "Kankuamo Women Victims Of the Violence"), in the home of protagonist Ludis Rodriguez in Atánquez. The women share their reactions to the finished product, which documents their testimonies and struggles.
